Trish Bondurant, Grade Four Teacher and Pedagogical Development Chair

Trish Bondurant was born in Montana and grew up in Colorado. She graduated from Rudolf Steiner College in 1989 with a Waldorf teaching certificate. After a year of substituting and leading the after school care program at the Lake Champlain Waldorf School, she returned to the West coast and joined the Seattle Waldorf School. Ms. Bondurant began her grade school teaching careen when she took a Grade One class at Seattle Waldorf School in 1991. Upon the graduation of that class from Grade Eight, Ms. Bondurant took a sabbatical and then returned to take Seattle Waldorf's Grade Five class through to Grade Eight. She joined Bright Water in Fall 2004 and became the school's Pedagogical Development Chair in the Fall of 2006. She has developed the woodworking program and served as its teacher for grades five through eight.  Ms. Bondurant is delighted to be the Grade Four Teacher for 2010-2011.  She is an avid cyclist who loves to travel on two wheels.
