Pam Boulding, Lyre Teacher
Pam Boulding has been teaching music and painting in Waldorf schools around the northwest for fifteen years. She, her husband Philip, and several of their children make up Magical Strings, a blend of Celtic harps and hammered dulcimers. Ms. Boulding has participated in specialty training courses at Waldorf conferences around the country since 1988. The Bouldings run the School of Magical Strings, which has inspired students of the Celtic harp and hammered dulcimer since 1978. They also design and manufacture instruments for an international clientele, including the lyres that they custom-built for Bright Water School.
