Cindy Jordan, Grade Two Teacher
Cindy was born and raised in Winnipeg, Canada. She spent much of her childhood daydreaming and exploring the world around her. She completed a BA in Geography and History, a B.Ed in Social Studies and Art, and holds a teaching certificate. Her sense of adventure and love of maps has led her to 67 countries, including Madagascar and Borneo. Cindy has taught and lived in France, Japan and Mexico, studying language, history, and culture. With a passion for learning and educating, she has worked for various non-profits providing social services and educational outreach programs.
Cindy was introduced to Waldorf education as a university student. Because her own teaching philosophy has so much in common with Waldorf education, she was very excited to join the Bright Water School faculty in 2008.
