Interim Eurythmy Position, 2010-11
Bright Water School is seeking a Waldorf-trained individual to temporarily fill the Eurythmy teacher position for the period of one year, beginning in the fall of 2010. The deadline to apply for this position is May 1, 2010.
We welcome all candidates who are graduates of a Eurythmy training program. Previous experience teaching Eurythmy is required. Position includes tuition remission as stated in the school's tuition policy as well as medical, dental, and vision care for the employee, their spouse or domestic partner, and their eligible dependents. Candidates are required to have a BA or BS and a Waldorf Teaching Certificate. Base salary is $39,200 with additional pay for experience. Professional development support includes mentoring.
Founded in 1998, Bright Water School is located in the historic St. Nicholas Building overlooking the north end of Seattle, Lake Union, and the Olympic Mountains. We have an enthusiastic and supportive parent group and a solid financial base. The complete range of Waldorf programs are in place, including: Japanese, Spanish, woodworking, handwork, art, games and movement, Eurythmy, lyre, strings, choir, band, and orchestra. Our diverse faculty comes from all over the United States and the world. The Seattle area has a large Waldorf community supported by several schools, a local teacher training program, and an Anthroposophical study group.
